Didactic Approach

At CISPA, we work from the premise that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

The humanistic and holistic view of human beings is the starting point of our teaching.

Our most important didactic aim is self-reflection, – being able to understand and accept your own multifaceted nature and the innate otherness of our fellow human beings. Through this process of achieving more profound consciousness, the student enables him-/herself to act freely and unconventionally, based on his/her individual values, life view and natural creativity.


Body, mind and spirit are a whole, which we develop through theoretical insight and practical application, aided by a common terminology across the disciplines. All classes are based on a methodological approach, the aim of which is to empower the student to put specific acting techniques to artistic practice. Ultimately, the performer consciously utilises him-/herself as an artistic instrument, leaving the methodological technique to become an invisible support for human nature and our inherent creative force to flourish.
