Meet us at CPH Culturenight 2018

CISPA opens its doors to a universe of theatre and performance installations. CISPA’s students who come from different countries and cultures around the world, will guide the audience around the dark recesses of the mind and the school.

A series of immersive scenarios will confront the audience with the paradoxes of differences and similarities in the ways we struggle to understand our present and our place in it.

“My head is filled with horrible images. I can’t say I actually see them, it’s more that I feel them……….. I carry on my work…”

This special event will perform cyclically throughout the night (18:00 – 24:00) and the audience may join at any time.

Performances will be in English. Free entrance with a Culture Pass.

Experience a different side of Copenhagen during Culture Night

Experience a different side of Copenhagen during Culture Night

Since 1993 Culture Night has grown to become the biggest annual one-day event in Copenhagen. Last year more than 100.000 curious guests of all ages explored the many special events and beautiful lightings – and on the 12th of October the city will reveal a new side again when Culture Night begins at 6pm.

All Culture Night events require a Culture Pass. It costs DKK 95 and it is free for children under 12 years. The Culture Pass can be purchased at one of our many sales outlets (listed on kulturnatten.dk under ‘Information’) and it also offers acess to free transport on trains, S-trains, busses and the Metro in the city zones 1-99 from 5pm-05am on Culture Night.

About Culture Night

The Copenhagen Culture Night Association in Copenhagen organizes and conducts the Culture Night once a year. The first Culture Night took place in 1993 and it is now the biggest annual one-day event with more than 80.000 sold Culture Passes in 2017.

Culture Pass and free transport

All Culture Night events require a Culture Pass if you are older than 12 years. It costs DKK 95 and can be purchased in all 7- Eleven stores within the capital region as well as libraries and museums in Copenhagen and on Frederiksberg from the 1st of October.

The Culture Pass also offers access to free transport on trains, S-trains, busses and the Metro in the city zones 1-99 from 17.00 to 05.00 on Culture Night. Each Culture Pass includes free transport for two children under 12 years.

It is not necessary for a child under 12 years to have a Culture Pass to participate in Culture Night events but free Children Culture Passes are available when purchasing Culture Passes. The Children Culture Pass cannot be used on public transport.

The purchase of a Culture Pass also gives you the possibility to receive a free printed guide that contains an overview of this year’s organizers. But it is on the website that you find descriptions of all events and where you can plan your own route through the more than 800 events from the 17th of September.
